VeryPC understands our requirements

Forging long lasting relationships is essential for us here at VeryPC. We’ve long used the motto that when you buy from us, you’re joining our ever growing family. We want to be there for you every single step of the way and that’s what we’ve been doing with the New Collaborative Learning Trust (NCLT) as they turned to VeryPC to provide their IT hardware across its colleges in Bradford, Doncaster and Pontefract.
The trust itself, founded in 2015, was created by the governors and senior leaders of New College Pontefract. They wanted to share their strengths and collaborate with others to improve the outcomes for young people. The results? Well, they speak for themselves. New College Pontefract has recently been awarded Sixth Form College of the Year and Overall FE Provider at the 2020 TES Awards. Alongside this, New College Doncaster has been ranked the fourth best sixth form college in the country for student achievement. Well done to all!
Across their three sites, you’ll find a range of VeryPC devices that college students use on a daily basis including the VeryPC Thinbook, our Flex Micro desktop PCs and our All-in-One PCs too. It’s not just our range of VeryPC devices that the trust comes to us for either. Over the course of our relationship with NCLT we’ve provided them with: projectors, monitors, laptop trolleys, keyboards, mice, SSDs and even social distancing floor stickers. NCLT are able to pick up the phone to VeryPC and know we are here to support them. Working with the team has allowed us to help their vision and strategy. Their colleges make a significant difference to the lives of young people and that means here at VeryPC, we’re doing what we set out to achieve– educating for a better tomorrow.
In September 2019, the trust opened New College Bradford to the world. A completely new build, right in the heart of the city centre and we were once more set the task of providing them with their IT equipment. Finding out the needs and IT requirements, gave us the opportunity to work our magic in true VeryPC style. With our IT proposal approved, we got to work on building their new machines. For a number of rooms within New College Bradford, we installed a significant number of our All-in-One PCs which as we’re sure you can see from the photos, provide a clean and tidy solution whilst providing the power and performance that students will require.

For us, it’s simple. Our job is to make yours easier. We wanted the process of providing, delivering and installing their new devices to go as smoothly as possible. With a fair few rooms to kit out, our warehouse team ensured that it was easily identifiable as to where each machine needed to be located within the college. Whether that was a PC for individual offices, classrooms or technology suites, we packaged every box with a room number and location on for ease when it came to installation.
We love nothing more than getting our teeth into a project and we’re delighted not only with the results of our success at New College Bradford but also with our ongoing relationship with the trust, as a whole.
