Two-Factor Authentication

Add a second layer of security to your organisation

Two-factor authentication (often referred to as 2FA) is an additional layer of protection against cyber criminals and phishing attacks that we use right here, in-house at VeryPC with our team. Put simply, two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security and protection to your online accounts and verifies your identity using a second factor (e.g. your phone or other mobile device). Even if someone knows your password, they will be prevented from being able to access your account without being in possession of your mobile device (the second factor). We partner with Duo, a leading company in two-factor authentication, who each month provide 500 million authentications and is used worldwide by companies such as Toyota, Panasonic and Facebook. We’re even able to set you up with a 30 day free trial so you can experience it for yourself!

DUO Partner

Keep your online accounts safe and secure

The software works to protect every point of access, from on-site premises, to web-based and cloud-based applications. A user simply, logs into any of their accounts as normal and a notification is delivered (either via SMS, a voice call, one-time passcode or a push notification via the smartphone app) to their mobile device asking to confirm their login attempt. If a user doesn’t recognise this attempt, then fear not, access can be denied there and then via the selected notification method. Access can even be restricted geographically, meaning any access attempts from certain countries will be denied.

Deployment of the software is quick and easy, and the platform\'s user-friendly authentication experience and intuitive administrator dashboard make managing security protocols quick, easy and pain free. As a proud Managed Service Provider, here at VeryPC we work alongside Duo to provide you with the best solution for your organisation and its needs.
