VeryPC 2022 Christmas Wrap Up

It's that time of year again. When we all start reflecting on the past 12 months, looking forward with optimism for the next 12. 2022 at VeryPC was a hectic, successful whirlwind of a year and thanks to our valued customers, another year of growth.
We had too many exciting things happen in 2022 to mention them all, so we've done our best to condense it and share some of our highlights. So settle down with a brew and take a stroll down memory lane with us.

Great to be back at BETT 2022
Bett, what can we say about Bett? The global community for everything edutech sees educators and IT professionals from all over the world meet vendors, innovators and businesses like us.
It is one of our favourite events to attend, and after an extended hiatus because of, you know what, it was terrific to get back to ExCeL London and meet all our partners and customers face to face.
Our sales and marketing team were in full force, having conversations about your IT requirements and future projects and rubbing shoulders with vendors and partners they had only ever met digitally.
One of our superstar colleagues, Nicole, had this to say about the event.
Well, where do I start? Bett 2022 was a fantastic week for everyone here at VeryPC. This was an excellent opportunity for us to network with IT managers and teachers from across the country (and beyond) to gain a better insight into the school environment.
It was a pleasure to show off our range of laptops, desktops, All-in-One PCs, and digital signage players. Here at VeryPC, we're famous for our socks, and if you picked up a pair, we hope your feet are warm and toasty this winter.
To launch our new gaming PC range, we also had a competition to win an incredible Gaming PC valued at over £4,000 at the Bett Show.
I want to thank our existing and new customers again on behalf of the entire team. We do these events for you, so we're chuffed with the feedback! It means a lot to us after months of hard work and late nights. So thank you!

We launched our official Esports offering
This year we fully embraced the world of high-performance gaming, launching our esports offering and using our expertise and nifty build team to create some unique and blazing-fast gaming rigs. Our long-standing customer, Buckinghamshire College Group, offers an esports course, so we did what we do best.
Our machines were meticulously assembled and perform outstandingly. Spare cables/parts were arranged and everything had been packaged with care. Students and teachers alike have been very impressed by these machines and it has certainly made learning more exciting.

New location, new friends at ISE 2022
Jack, Ross, Colin and Ryan were in attendance at the triumphant debut of ISE in Barcelona. Our team was amongst almost 44,000 unique visitors from 151 countries supporting our partner JWIPC.
The world’s leading AV and systems integration exhibition. ISE showcases the world’s leading technology innovators and solutions providers, and includes inspiring conferences, events and experiences
They met vendors and partners and created new relationships after a two-year hiatus.
One of our sales managers Ross caught up with some familiar faces.
For myself, it was great to catch up with familiar faces, especially those that I’ve not been able to see over the past couple of years, and form new relationships with a whole host of different vendors and businesses from across the world.

New additions to the family
With year-on-year growth comes the need for extra help across various departments within VeryPC.
We welcomed a new Marketing Manager Kim, joined shortly after by a Senior Marketing Executive Luke forming part of the Marketing Department.
Our very own magician James joined our Operations Team to support the whole business making sure everything runs smoothly.
A new tech support whizz kid Devon is now behind the emails and on the other side of the phone, ready to help you solve any tech issues.
Last but not least, Stefan is dashing around the warehouse, ensuring your orders get out the door and into your hands.

An eventful company kick off!
We upped our 'event game' this year and launched our first off-site VeryPC Company Kick-Off Day at The Mowbray in Sheffield's trendy Kelham Island district. The venue was top secret, and details were not disclosed to staff until the morning of the kick-off. So the team had to embark on a walking treasure hunt around Kelham Island to find clues leading them to the exclusive venue. Luckily it was a beautiful sunny September morning in Sheffield, and all of the teams eventually made it to the venue!
The day involved important company presentations, key department updates, and lots of fun stuff, including a team-building challenge with lots of spaghetti, tape and marshmallows, a pub quiz and VeryPC staff awards. We enjoyed a delicious lunch and refreshments followed by a fantastic VeryPC cake designed especially for the event.
The VeryPC Company Kick-Off Day was followed by an evening of bowling, ping pong, burgers and drinks at Lane7. It was a great way of bringing the team together and celebrating another fantastic year at VeryPC!

- We joined numerous frameworks to help support IT across the education sector.
Here are our opening hours ahead of our closing over the holiday season.
We’ll be closed from 5pm on Friday 23rd December until 8.30am on Tuesday 3rd January 2023.
