Intouch Display turns to VeryPC to drive their flagship touch-screen display solution

Intouch Display are the UK’s leading provider of touch screen display systems, designed for all kinds of high street brands, from estate agents to retail to recruitment. They were the first to launch through-glass touch screen display units in the UK and remain the market leader.

Everything is built in-house, using the highest quality components. The screens are housed in bespoke units, created to work with the agent’s in-store design and layout.

Their through-glass touch screen displays and non-touch signage displays feature ultra-bright, high-resolution screens, readable even in direct sunlight and have an inbuilt cooling system ensures that the screen does not overheat, even in the hottest temperatures. The products integrate seamlessly with key business management systems and information is automatically uploaded, requiring no double-entry and no additional administration.

Requirement

The team at Intouch Display were in need of a powerful but compact digital signage device suited to retail environments. Initially, we supplied them with the Intel NUC as a suitable option for their touch screen display systems however we discovered that the Intel NUC was not rated for 24/7 usage which was a major requirement for Intouch Display. Intel also announced in the summer of 2023 that its NUC computers were being discontinued, so this product wasn’t a viable option moving forward. Fortunately, at VeryPC we were able to offer a great alternative.

Solution

Our Aspect Nano solution is rated for 24/7 usage and offers all the features of the Intel NUC. It’s a powerful but compact signage device featuring the latest Intel hardware with Iris Xe graphics, capable of driving up to four concurrent 4K displays. Inspired by the original Intel NUC, this quality alternative is manufactured by our partner JWIPC. It is perfect for a wide range of use cases, not only as a signage player but also as a client PC, and the RTC-based power scheduling gives retailers the ability to automatically power their signage screens on and off depending on their operating hours.

"Since meeting Ross and Andy at the Integrated Systems Europe show in January 2023, we’ve been in regular contact with the team at VeryPC. Ross has always gone above and beyond to support us with our product requirements and ensure our needs are met in the best way possible. We’re really happy with the Aspect Nano currently, and how well it suits our touch screen display range."
