Like most people around the country, the majority of the VeryPC team are currently working remotely from their homes due to the Coronavirus outbreak. By now, you’ll have read a whole load of online articles, LinkedIn posts and tweets from schools and businesses in the UK (and around the world) who are adapting to this unprecedented turn of events.
At the time of writing, our Sales, Technical, Accounts and Marketing teams are all working remotely, following recent Government advice. This is definitely not something we expected to be happening two months ago when we were gearing up for Bett 2020 or even last month when we attended ISE in Amsterdam, but like everyone else around the country, it’s slowly becoming the ‘new normal’ for us.
We’re a family here at VeryPC and we love working together, but for myself, it’s been a real joy to see how everyone has come together in a time of uncertainty to keep doing what we do best. Through the wonders of applications such as Microsoft Teams and a wide range of mobile devices, we’re able to video conference each other throughout the working day to discuss projects and even just to check in and see those familiar faces we’re so used to seeing in and around the office.
Whilst it’s been important to ensure our team is up and running remotely, we’re also working hard to ensure that you and your teams are able to operate in the same way we are. Our Technical team are firing on all cylinders helping our managed support users with remote access for their workers, amongst a whole host of other questions and queries.
We don’t know how long the current situation will last, but one thing that’s certain is VeryPC are on hand to support all our customers. From schools, businesses and re-sellers across the country and beyond. We’re sending a whole load of VeryPC love to all those affected by the Coronavirus outbreak and we encourage everyone to follow the Government guidelines and regulations.
Stay safe.
