Requirement
Following a Cyber Security audit requested by Evogo, and conducted by VeryPC, the company’s network firewall was identified as being end of life and requiring replacement to ensure protection against future cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
Solution
VeryPC recommended that Evogo deploy a Sophos Firewall to replace the existing end-of-life device with a modern, nextgen Firewall, providing advanced threat detection capabilities, designed to automatically identify, and block active threats, ensuring that Evogo’s network, users and devices are protected from modern cyber threats.
The tight integration of Sophos Firewall with Evogo’s existing Endpoint Protection, provided by Sophos Intercept-X Advanced with XDR, significantly enhances their security infrastructure. This integration allows at-risk devices to be promptly isolated, preventing threats from spreading through the network. Sophos Intercept-X Advanced with XDR offers advanced detection and response capabilities, identifying and addressing sophisticated threats across multiple endpoints. This comprehensive security solution ensures that Evogo’s network remains robust and secure against potential cyber threats.
VeryPC configured and installed the new Sophos Firewall, migrating existing settings from the previous device and deploying Sophos Connect VPN to users’ devices, to provide an increased level of encryption for remote workers.
