VeryPC deployed new phone system based on 3CX for Aylesbury Vale Academy

Aylesbury Vale Academy wanted to replace their existing phone system, which was outdated, with limited functionality and costly to maintain in terms of hardware, support, and annual maintenance fees with a new modern phone system which would save costs, reduce admin time and enable new functionality for staff.

Having provided phone systems for Schools and Businesses for over 15 years, VeryPC understood the academy’s requirements for a modern, software-based phone system that would be able to grow with the Academy’s requirements, whilst also leveraging cost savings and providing additional functionality for staff.

Requirement

The Aylesbury Vale Academy needed to replace their outdated phone system, which offered limited functionality and was expensive to maintain. The existing system required significant investment in hardware, support, and annual maintenance fees. They sought a modern solution that would reduce costs, decrease administrative time, and provide enhanced functionality for staff.

Solution

Leveraging over 15 years of experience in providing phone systems for schools and businesses, VeryPC understood the Academy’s need for a scalable and cost-effective solution. They worked closely with the Academy and the Local Education Authority to assess requirements and deployed a 3CX software based phone system.

The 3CX solution is renowned for its flexibility and advanced features, including easy integration with existing IT infrastructure and user-friendly management through a web-based interface. This system supports a wide range of devices, allowing staff to communicate seamlessly from any location, whether using desktop phones, mobile devices, or softphones on their computers. To complement the new phone system, VeryPC installed Yealink desk phones throughout the Academy, providing high-quality audio and intuitive interfaces that enhanced user experience.

The combination of 3CX and Yealink ensured a future-proof solution that could grow with the Academy’s needs while delivering significant cost savings and operational efficiencies.

Result

With the new 3CX phone system from VeryPC in place, plus a new inclusive call package to cover mobile calls through a new VoIP Provider, Aylesbury Vale Academy were able to reduce their ongoing costs significantly as well as reducing the IT Departments time to manage and maintain the system. Staff were also now able to communicate from anywhere, at any time, and on any device.
