We have joined forces with NAACE (The National Association for Education Technology) supporting their research hub as a resources and technology partner. We will be aiding in their mission to support the education sector using research, best practices, and advancements in technology whilst providing our expertise on computer solutions with a focus on sustainability.

You can check out our partner area and our latest blog post "Embracing Sustainability: The DfE's Leadership and Climate Action Plans for Education"

Who are NAACE?

NAACE is a community of teachers, school leaders, advisors, consultants, and commercial partners working across all areas of UK education who share a vision for the developing role of technology in education.

NAACE members and sponsoring partners operate across both public and private sectors. They encompass a diverse group of professionals within the education sphere, such as teachers, school leaders, consultants, software developers, technicians, university lecturers, student teachers, company executives, and national partners, along with colleagues from commerce and industry.

These members and partners are united by a common passion for integrating effective technology use into teaching, learning, and school management. Those who share this enthusiasm and are keen to collaborate with like-minded professionals are encouraged to join NAACE and become part of the community.

EdTech: Where are we now? Research

In January 2024, Naace launched a 12-month research project that involves all UK schools in sharing their experiences of EdTech.

This study aligns with the six elements of the Naace EdTech Review Framework, a tool that has already assisted 14,000 schools in mapping their journey of improvement with EdTech. It aims to provide a holistic – and fully independent – appraisal of EdTech in UK schools.

The research will be broken down into elements that mirror the EdTech Review Framework (ERF):

  • Leadership and management
  • Teaching and learning with technology
  • Assessment of digital capability
  • Digital safeguarding
  • Professional development
  • Resources and technology

We will be supporting and spreading awareness of this vital research and will have our award-winning socks up for grabs and some prizes to be won at Bett 2025. Stay tuned.
