Connect the Classroom

A Department for Education funded programme for wireless networking in schools

Connect the Classroom is a Department for Education (DfE) funded programme which aims to improve wireless infrastructures across schools in the UKDuring the pandemic, many schools were provided with important technology such as tablets and laptops, to enable students to continue their learning whilst at home, and now more than ever, we understand how important it is for students and teachers to have access to technology and high-speed internet connections for effective learning outcomes.

VeryPC is here to help

The Connect the Classroom programme was initially rolled out to 1000 schools in the UK, to upgrade wireless networks to next-generation Wi-Fi 6. Following the initial success of the programme, the DfE announced plans earlier this year to invest a further £150 million in modern, high spec Wireless and LAN infrastructure for schools across the UK, over the next 3 years.

The team at VeryPC are working exclusively with 'DfE Approved' technology procurement framework, Everything ICT to implement reliable, secure and high-speed networks into schools that are eligible for the funding.

VeryPC is an established educational ICT provider, working with hundreds of schools nationally. We know how to successfully operate in educational settings and we understand the increasing demands of the school environment.
