Yorkshire Day at VeryPC

31 Jul 2026 VeryPC News

At VeryPC, we’re proud of our Yorkshire roots, so there was no better way to celebrate Yorkshire Day than by bringing a bit of Yorkshire spirit into the workplace. After all, as we say round these parts…“Tha can’t beat Yorkshire!”

Colleagues from across the business got involved in our Yorkshire Day celebrations, showing off their Yorkshire pride with everything from sports shirts to flat caps and of course the famous VeryPC Yorkshire socks!

Yorkshire Treats All Round

No Yorkshire celebration would be complete without a brew and a few tasty treats.

Every colleague received a Yorkshire Survival Kit packed with goodies to help them through the day. It was the perfect excuse to put kettle on, grab a treat and have a natter with colleagues.

Yorkshire Hamper Winners

A highlight of the day was our Yorkshire-themed prize draw, with some fantastic hampers up for grabs from Yorkshire’s Finest Hampers.

More Than Just a Fun Day

Days like these are all about bringing people together, celebrating our culture and having a bit of fun along the way!

As a Sheffield-based business with strong Yorkshire roots, Yorkshire Day was a great opportunity to celebrate the heritage, character and community spirit that makes Yorkshire such a special place.

Ey Up, Yorkshire!

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, whether you wore Yorkshire colours, pulled on your VeryPC Yorkshire socks, represented Sheffield’s football clubs, or simply enjoyed a brew and a piece of Parkin with colleagues.

It was a brilliant day full of laughs, local pride and Yorkshire spirit.

Here’s hoping we spot plenty more VeryPC Yorkshire socks out and about on Yorkshire Day itself!
