VeryPC turn Pink for Wear It Pink Day 2026

23 Oct 2026 VeryPC News

Every year, Wear It Pink brings together thousands of people, schools, communities and workplaces across the UK to raise money for Breast Cancer Now, making it one of the country’s biggest and most recognisable fundraising events.

Breast Cancer Now does incredible work to fund world-class research, provide life-changing support services, and campaign for better outcomes for those affected by breast cancer. Their vision is simple but powerful: that by 2050, everyone diagnosed with breast cancer will live and be supported to live well.

On Thursday 22nd October, the VeryPC team came together to support Wear It Pink Day, raising awareness and funds for this fantastic cause.

The day was particularly meaningful as it gave us the opportunity to recognise how breast cancer can affect anyone, whether directly or through someone they care about. For many of us, including myself, this is a cause that hits close to home. Having experienced the impact of breast cancer within my own family, seeing colleagues come together to show their support made the day even more special.

From Green to Pink

For one day only, VeryPC’s trademark green made way for pink. From pink shirts and jumpers to shoes, socks and feather boa, the team fully embraced the challenge of wearing pink. It was fantastic to see so many people getting involved, helping to raise awareness while showing support for those affected by breast cancer.

A Great Selection of Pink Bakes

Our pink-themed bake sale was a huge success, with a fantastic range of homemade treats brought in by colleagues across the business.

A big thank you goes to all our bakers who took the time to create some amazing cakes and sweet treats, as well as everyone who donated and enjoyed a well-earned afternoon snack.

Raising Awareness Through Conversation

Alongside our fundraising activities, we also used the day to share information and resources about breast cancer. Awareness posters were displayed around the business to help educate and encourage discussion around the signs, symptoms, and impact of the disease.

One of the most powerful parts of the day was hearing personal experiences and stories from colleagues. These conversations helped remind us that breast cancer affects so many people in different ways and reinforced the importance of creating supportive environments where people feel comfortable talking about their experiences.

Thank You

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, wore pink, baked, shared their stories, or simply took the time to learn more about breast cancer awareness.

Events like Wear It Pink demonstrate the strength of our VeryPC community and our willingness to come together to support causes that matter. We’re incredibly proud of everyone who got involved and helped make the day such a success.

Together, we turned VeryPC pink for a day and made a difference. 💗
