Remanufacturing Process
Our remanufacturing process is backed by a BSI Kitemark certified workflow, helping give schools and businesses added confidence in the quality, consistency, and traceability behind every device.
1. Asset Identification & Traceability
Every device is logged and tracked through production using its unique serial number for full traceability.
2. Technical Assessment
Initial inspection checks power, motherboard, BIOS integrity and core hardware. Devices below standard are removed.
3. Certified Data Erasure
All storage devices undergo secure data erasure, permanently removing previous data before reuse.
4. Internal Inspection & Cleaning
Each laptop is opened for dust removal, cooling system inspection and motherboard component checks.
5. Component Restoration & Replacement
Storage, memory, cooling, keyboards and connectors are tested and replaced with enterprise-grade parts where needed.
6. Cosmetic Restoration
Surface refinishing, cleaning and panel restoration bring devices back to a clean, professional standard.
7. Display Inspection
Every screen is checked for cracks, burn-in, dead pixels and brightness irregularities against strict standards.
8. Storage Health Verification
SMART health checks, error scanning and performance testing confirm drives are fit for continued use.
9. Battery Health Testing
Batteries must meet at least 70% of original design capacity. Anything below that threshold is replaced.
10. Full Hardware Function Testing
Keyboard, trackpad, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, webcam, USB, audio, display and charging are all tested.
11. Operating System Installation
Each laptop receives a clean OS install with genuine Windows activation, drivers, updates and BIOS verification.
12. Final Quality Control
