The K205 is designed to keep working without anyone watching over it. Watchdog monitors the system and automatically reboots the device if it crashes or hits an unrecoverable error, getting it back online without manual intervention.
Real-time clock (RTC) power scheduling lets you set exact on and off times by date, so devices power up before the doors open and shut down after closing. That cuts energy use, reduces wear, and helps extend the working life of each unit across long deployments.
