Crispin Academy provides high-quality education to students aged 11-16 from Street and across Mid-Somerset. The vision and values of Crispin Academy are summed up in three words: Aspiration, Compassion, and Excellence. The academy is fortunate to have a spacious site with well-equipped specialist accommodation. The most recent addition to the school site is the Innovation Hub, which houses arts, technology, computing, and vocational qualifications for students in Years 10 and 11.
3. The Requirement
Crispin needed a sturdy and dependable computer that could be easily deployed across the site. These computers would be installed in existing IT suites where students, aged 11-16, would have access. It was crucial for this project to have a machine that was secure from tampering and robust enough to endure years of use in an educational environment.

4. Our Solution
After providing a quote and a demo unit for the Slim, Crispin was impressed and installed a suite full. The Slim features a Kensington lock point and accessible front ports, making it ideal for IT Suites. Slim has the ability to be branded with the school logo, helping to reinforce the school’s identity and acting as a theft deterrent by clearly marking the units as belonging to the school.
5. The Results
Since 2017, Crispin have being using the Slim, a robust, reliable, and secure machine built for the education sector. They have replaced many IT suites with the Slim featuring the schools branding.
