Part of the family
We have a family spirit in our work relationships, and when you join VeryPC as a customer, partner or teammate, you’re becoming part of this family.
At VeryPC, we’re more than just a tech company, we’re a team of thinkers, doers and creators who go the extra mile. When you join us, you become part of a ‘work family’ where integrity matters, achievement is recognised, and success is a team effort.
Here you’ll find a workplace where the challenge is real, the environment is supportive, and no two days are the same. Whether you’re configuring bespoke systems, delivering exceptional service, or driving innovation in ICT solutions for education and business across the UK, your work will have impact — and you’ll do it alongside people who care about doing things the right way.
We have a family spirit in our work relationships, and when you join VeryPC as a customer, partner or teammate, you’re becoming part of this family.
Our business is focused on our customers’ needs. It’s all about instilling an abiding sense of fulfillment from each interaction with us by providing a level of care and attention they’ve rarely seen.
We’re flexible. We tailor our offerings, from PC configuration and custom branding to bespoke delivery and support services, to match the requirements of each opportunity.
In the technology business, you must be ready to respond to developments in the market and evolving customer demands. If you don’t stay ahead, you get left behind.
Integrity keeps business in check. We always do what we say we will do and we understand that we have a responsibility to run our organisation in a fair and ethical manner.
We encourage personal development and recognise achievement within our organisation. Relationships are at the heart of our success because there is no substitute for customer loyalty.
Although we’re all working hard to push VeryPC forward, the atmosphere in our workplace is one of relaxed, friendly cooperation. There’s usually music playing and some lively chat between desks and departments. If we’re going to work together, we need to be able to have a bit of fun together too, right?
At VeryPC, we’re open and transparent about business targets and performance, with regular team briefings to make sure everyone in the company knows what our big targets are. When those big targets are hit, everyone’s contribution is acknowledged and we celebrate together.
We believe that a diverse, inclusive workforce makes a stimulating, creative workplace and is more likely to result in business success. We encourage and welcome applications from people of all genders, ethnicities, sexualities, abilities, backgrounds and ages. VeryPC is a family of many different people (though mostly nerds), all sparking ideas off each other and contributing to our blended company culture. We want every applicant to know that they have an equal opportunity, based on merit, to win a place here at VeryPC.
“I started working for the company in 2016. Being a Sheffield lad, the location is perfect for me. My role is resolving customer issues, so anything could be waiting when I turn up in the morning. You never know what you’re going to get! The best thing is being able to make a difference and I get a buzz out of problem solving. I’m challenged in my role every single day but I still get to enjoy myself at work and have a laugh. The music is alright too!
If you’re thinking of applying for a role at VeryPC then I would say you need to get stuck in and become part of this team.”
“I’ve been working for VeryPC coming up to twelve years now and my main responsibilities are invoicing customers, taking invoices from suppliers and helping look after the accounts side of things. I love the size of the company and that there’s a wide range of people but you still get to know everyone on a personal level. VeryPC is a challenging organisation to work in but it’s certainly never boring.
It’s given me a lot of great memories such as the Christmas and charity events that we’ve done in the past. You won’t regret applying for a role at VeryPC so give it a go and have a try!”
If you’re ready to accept the challenge and join the VeryPC family, please email a short introduction and accompanying CV to thrive@very-pc.co.uk
